Welcome to 2008/09

Let the new season begin!

Winter's coming, which, of course, means long dark nights. But some gloom-busting people have found a way to fight the darkness – by slapping serious sparkle on their homes.

This site is a celebration of these houses.

If you're a houseblinger, you can get worldwide exposure for your artistry through this site. Spotters can submit pictures of blinged-up houses. Together, you'll help build the 2008-9 database of UK housebling! What's more, it's simple, and it's free.

So whether you're a houseblinger, an admirer of housebling or just can't believe what some people do to their houses, is for you!

Go to the Submit a Pic page to find out how easy it is to upload your picture(s) of housebling.

We have started afresh with blings this year but we've not lost all of last year's submissions. You can view them here.

About is a free showcase for those amazing people who decorate (well, overdecorate) the exteriors of their houses at Christmas with lights. Some do it for charity, some for fun, or both. Whatever, houseblinging is a phenomenon that cannot be ignored, and is celebrated on this website.
